Steve Sichak
Steve’s expertise is in improving performance by developing the right strategies and ensuring that organizations have the capabilities and work systems required to ensure that results are delivered over the long run. He served as an executive with Becton Dickinson (BD) for more than 20 years, the last nine as EVP and Chief Integrated Supply Chain Officer. Prior to BD Steve worked at Abbott and Baxter and he is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemistry from DePaul University.
Since becoming a management consultant, Steve has advised CEOs and investors on a range of projects including the development of strategies to improve operating performance, a global ERP implementation, evaluation of potential acquisitions, and the development of functional strategies. He believes that businesses perform best when they lead with purpose and commit to deliver value for all stakeholders and he is an Executive Fellow at the Center for Higher Ambition Leadership, an organization which fosters these beliefs.
Steve is committed to the arts, global health and education. He is a Trustee of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and has served as Co-Chair and Interim President of that organization. He is a Board Member of CMMB, a global charity dedicated to improving the health of women and children living in developing countries and he is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the DePaul University College of Science and Health. He also enjoys spending time in nature with his family, running, assisting his wife in the garden and exploring the northeastern US in his Cessna.
